Jesus Didn't Deserve That
The name of this album comes from our first song on the album. When I wrote this into the computer I wasn't expecting the results. I cried every time I heard it for a month before I could listen to it without tears. It is litterally how I always felt about the story of what happened to Jesus. No one and I mean no one ever deserved that.
I'll See You In My Dreams Dad
I kept seeing people post dad can I have a hug fast please. Dad would respond yes but why fast? they would say because im going to wake up. So I sat with that for a long time and finally got the words right wasn't expecting this result. If your missing you dad in heaven this songs for you.
You Die When God Says It's Your Time
This song is about me my first attempt and how it failed now my father didnt save me like the song says but that gun wouldn't fire fully loaded and safety off. God wouldn't let me. True Story
Fading Superman
The song that broke me. This is the actually Story of my father and how I watched the man I saw as superman fade to nothing and die. This one will never not hurt. Funny thing is my dads favorite comic book was Superman. The first one we ever got together was The Death of Superman.
My Story the Extended Story
A complete musical of my life. Beginning with my childhood, my fall from God, and ending with Forgiveness, Humbling myself, and ultimately being healed enough to go on. Right as God places it on my heart to begin a new journey.
Had to be Truth
The songs of this album took a while to get right. With heavy orchestra and trying to match them to the correct vocals to match many songs were not correct and had to be made multiple times.
If it Hurts it must be good
Over the course of creating this album I had to step back from designing it as hearing it hit harder than I thought it would
First take wasn't enough
The first release just felt like there was something missing so after reviewing it a few times I found 8 areas that needed to be extended

So many songs here I could talk about but the most important is a prayer called one more miracle. I pray this prayer every day for Charlie.
I'd Take It
This song was better than I thought it would be describing this I doubted my wording and God made sure it came out saying exactly how I felt. If I could I would swap with him so he could raise his babies.
Blueberry Budget
Still praying that Erica gets this one someday. The difficulty of making this song took me days and days and a good 20 songs that just didn't cover it. I prayed and prayed for this one to come out right then I heard this.
Charlie's Lantern
This song specially is about an actual lantern here on Charlies Blueberry Patch from Heaven. When I was young, I was once told if you light a lantern for someone at a memorial, they can be there with you. So, we got a lantern for Charlie, and it will hang in the Garden.
Nursing work of the Heart
We began this album as my wife was remembering her days in the newborn ICU as a nurse and the first song that came out was two pound miracle. That led to 14 songs total for the nurses of the world. From us to you we want you to know we see you and we love you.

Did you know there's someone who's fighting in your corner every step of your hospital journey? They tend to get little to no credit and still show up everyday for everyone. They call them social workers and care managers. This song is about them.

A story of my wifes mother who wanted to be a nurse most of her life. Finally became one and about 10 years into it got sick and couldn't do it anymore.
Hands on Heart
Ever wonder how nurses feel when a heart attack patient comes in? How they react and what they do and how serious they take it. They give all they have to every patient but ones in a risky situation like this there hearts and hands align and they fight hard to keep them with us. Hands on Heart is that story
Mercy on the Rope
Have to start with the main song Mercy on the Rope. This was my second attempt and how it happened. I broke my jaw and was stuck in that rope. Everyone said there was no way from the broken jaw that I could have gotten out of the rope. The way it twisted under me it wasnt possible. Yet I woke up on the floor of my garage. After I came home from the hospital I walked out in that garage, and I saw that rope was still hanging there and still tight. I don't have an explanation but looking back I realized God Saved me that day. It was the only way I lived.
No Tears in Heaven
Ever been told theres no tears in heaven? I have and I always say if that's a rule I'm breaking it. The moment I see my dad I will break and cry like a baby. I was amazed how the computer made this song. It's one of my favorites.
Little By Little
As I build the memorial, I have learned to be patience this song turned out so much deeper than my memorial builds though. It's about life and how so often everyone wants everything at once and how God tends to provide what we need little by little and in the end it all works out. We also learn more lessons as we go. Humbling ourselves along the way.
One more forgive
Every see the posts where they say when you get to heaven God tells you there's one more person for you to forgive. This song is about that and asks the question if your peace in heaven required you to forgive yourself could you do it? If not, then what happens?
